"Maintain Mental Health Balance in Residency & Fellowship Training"

Medical residency and fellowship are known for their intense demands often leading to mental health challenges among trainees. To address this, the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School launched a “Wellness Wednesday” initiative. This initiative uses a self-assessment survey to help psychiatry trainees reflect on their mental well-being and share their experiences in a safe space.
The objectives of this session, you will learn:
• The development and implementation of the survey.
• Its role in tracking mental health, boosting morale and building resilience.
