NSAMA TRAVEL SUPPORT GRANTS
The National Society of Academic Medical Administrators (NSAMA) is pleased to offer Professional Development Travel sponsorship to our members. NSAMA will provide funding of up to $3,500 to support attendance at professional conferences, such as the AAMC Annual Meeting, AHME Institute, or a national specialty program administrator/coordinator conference. Selected individuals will collaborate with the NSAMA administrator to register for the conference and arrange travel accommodations. NSAMA will pay expenses directly whenever possible to reduce out-of-pocket costs for the member.
Applications from members planning to attend the AAMC or ACGME conference are now OPEN and will be accepted through the end of the day on November 10, 2025.
Recipients will be notified by November 21, 2025.
Important Note:
Applicants should plan carefully when applying for sponsorship and scheduling conference attendance. Hotel blocks for popular conferences can sell out quickly, and timely travel arrangements are essential to secure best rates and availability. Additionally, approval from your program and/or supervisor may take additional time. To support planning efforts, NSAMA recommends reviewing a preliminary conference schedule (which may be available on the conference website) and approximate dates before applying to align attendance plans with approval processes.
