Loretta LaRoche is an international stress management expert who helped pioneer the use of humor as a coping mechanism. She has authored eight best selling books and has been the star of seven PBS shows aired in over eighty stations nationwide. She was an adjunct faculty member at the Mind/Body Medical Institute an affiliate of Harvard Medical School for fifteen years. She has shared the stage with former President Bill Clinton, Anthony Robbins, Dr. Phil, Suzie Orman, Arianna Huffington, Quincy Jones, Ellen Degeneres and a host of other dignitaries and celebrities. Her signature humor is her ability to observe the absurdities that are so much a part of the human condition and the culture which often lead to stress and to help find the AHA in the HA HA!

 

 

 

Kim Meninger, executive coach, TEDx speaker and host of the Impostor Syndrome Files podcast, empowers individuals and organizations to reach their full leadership potential. Kim has coached hundreds of clients and has presented on career advancement and leadership topics to corporate, non-profit and academic audiences. She leverages her psychology degree, MBA and over a decade of experience as a high-tech leader to empower professionals to lead themselves and others more effectively. Kim is especially passionate about helping women to become more confident, visible and influential leaders.

 

Kim has a BA in psychology and an MBA from Boston College. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach and CCE Board Certified Coach with certifications in confidence, career, executive and leadership development coaching. Kim also holds a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University.

Conference Awards

NSAMA will be presenting two Distinguished Medical Education Administrator awards at our upcoming conference. 

 

Distinguished Medical Education Administrator Award (DMEA) 

 

The Distinguished Medical Education Administrator Award acknowledges the extraordinary contributions made by a medical administrator towards fulfilling the goals and mission of their organization and colleagues. Nominees for this award should meet the following criteria: 

  •  Criteria 

    • Must be a current NSAMA member 

    • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a medical administrator. 

    • Participates in professional development through local, regional, or national program coordinators associations, local, regional, or national skill or leadership training programs, or other relevant experience.

    • Must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of their specialty

    • Must demonstrate leadership and/or mentorship to others. 

    • Letters of support must include examples of how the administrator demonstrated the above criteria.

Distinguished New Medical Education Administrator Award (DNMEA) 

 

The Distinguished New Medical Education Administrator Award acknowledges the extraordinary contributions made by a new medical administrator with less than 3 years towards fulfilling the goals and mission of their organization and colleagues. Nominees for this award should meet the following criteria: 

 

  • Criteria 

    • Must be a current NSAMA member 

    • Must have less than 3 years’ experience as a medical administrator. 

    • Must demonstrate above average initiative in learning, job functions, and requirements for their specialty, possesses strong organizational and communication skills. 

    • Participates in professional development through local, regional, or national program coordinators associations, local, regional, or national skill or leadership training programs, or other relevant experience.

    • Letters of support must include examples of how the administrator demonstrated the above criteria.
